Happy Birthday Caden!

It's my 2nd birthday...I am just waking up but mommy said she had some presents for me, so I am happy!!
Baby Addie is well on her way. Not too much longer to go - thank goodness. I couldn't stand to have this belly too much longer!

Here is my favorite birthday present this year....Who wouldn't love a Big Wheels just like mom and dad used to have?

I'm a big kid now! Mommy, Daddy, and I finished off a small ice cream cake all in one sitting tonight. Can you imagine the sugar high I was on?
CADEN IS TWO!
We cannot believe how big he is already! He is like a little man now. He is talking like crazy and running around with so much energy. I don't know how we keep up with him. Caden now has a big boy bedroom where he has been sleeping for about a month now. He knows his old room is for his baby sister when she arrives. He has done really well in his big boy bed. He still won't get out in the morning without asking permission to do so first. We hope that will last a while! Now we just have to work on potty training and we will be all set!
We had an exciting birthday today with Grammy Pammy...we went to Kid City, a fun museum. Then we had lunch at Friendly's with a yummy conehead sundae. We went to Petco to buy some fish for our tank....all but one of ours died last week! Now we have 3 new cool ones....their names are Speckle, Nemo, Simba, and Fatty McPhatty (the only one who survived). We had a quiet dinner at home with Daddy - pasta & garlic bread, one of Caden's favorite meals. Then a yummy ice cream cake...as you can see above.
I am getting bigger by the moment and glad to have Addie well on her way. I am due May 11th, but Jay and I are convinced that she will come a little early, just like her brother did. I certainly hope so. I have had enough of the leg cramps and backaches associated with pregnancy. Addie is quite active - more than Caden ever was. I hope that is not a sign of things to come!!!
On March 6th, Caden's Great Grandma Laurenda (My grandma) passed away. She will be missed, but she is in a better place now and watching down over our growing family. We are blessed to have another angel in Heaven to protect us.
No other news in the Mitchell houshold. Hopefully I will update the blog again before Addie arrives! I promise to try to! Hope everyone had a Happy St. Patty's Day!
