Here is our big boy a few days ago...we can't believe he will be a big brother soon. We are all anxiously awaiting baby Addie's arrival. At an ultrasound last week, the doc says she is at least 8 pounds so we hope she comes soon and doesn't top her brother's 9 pound weight! 
Caden went fishing with Grampy Mark and Daddy at the beginning of April. It was a chilly and windy morning, but they had fun anyway. Caden loves spending time with Grampy, but the highlight of his day was watching Daddy almost fall in the pond and seeing a tree fall down from the high wind. I am sure there will be many more fishing trips in their future.
Caden at a Touch a Truck show a few weeks ago. We got to see a Blackhawk Helicopter amongst many other cool vehicles. Here is Caden sitting in the Blackhawk - I think mommy and daddy were more excited than he was, though!

We celebrated Caden's 2nd birthday in March. Unfortunately he woke up with a high fever the night before and we had to take him to the doctor in the morning before his party. His fever was gone before the party started, but he definitely was not the usual happy boy we know! A few presents will cheer anyone up though!
Mommy and Daddy made Caden 2 cakes for his birthday. Elmo is his favorite so he got to eat that one all by himself. He isn't really sure how to feel about all these people singing to him! Be sure to check the blog again soon....hopefully Addie will make her appearance any day now!
