Summer Fun

Caden has been such a great big brother. When Addie is crying, he will go over and talk to her to help her feel better. When she cried today, he told us that it makes him sad. He also tries to give her a binkie sometimes, especially during car rides. I guess we should enjoy them sitting next to each other and getting along while we can. I am sure they will begin to nag each other on car rides as soon as they can!

This weekend we got together with Jay's high school friends and their children. It was great to see everyone. Caden is really enjoying swimming this summer. Here Daddy is making him fly. Caden just loved it and he certainly tired Daddy out!

We have been pool-sitting for our neighbor this week, which has been great since the sun has actually been out! For a little boy that was so scared to be in the water a few days ago, he has really adjusted. He enjoyed floating around in the dolphin at Randy and Ali's house.

Daddy just happened to bring home a fire hydrant this past weekend...wonder how that happened? Caden has enjoyed riding his new toy in the yard.

Caden and Addie just relaxing. I think Caden is enjoying Addie's toys more than she is. The doctors told us that he may regress a bit when Addie arrived - I guess they were right! Besides playing with baby toys, he has become a bit whiney, too. It is tough not being the center of attention all the time anymore. But he is beginning to adjust. I think he has figured out that Addie isn't going anywhere and he is stuck with her!
